Policies
Our services are guided by some policies that you may want to know about ahead of time. All the policies are listed in our Pet Care Agreement, and some of them are highlighted here.
We care about your cat as if they were our own, so we ask that after you return home, you contact us and let us know that your cat is doing well. This policy helps us sleep well at night.
The safety of your cat is our top priority. Therefore we will not provide services for any cat while the cat has unsupervised access to the outdoors.
Cancellation Policy: Purrmore requires a 7-day notice of cancellation. Less than 48-hour notice will result in the client being billed for 50% of the booked services fee. In addition, if we arrive for a visit but are unable to perform the service, the client will be billed for the full price of the visit.
For the safety and well-being of your cat, we require a visit at least once a day, starting no later than the day after you depart and ending no earlier than the day before you return. Too much can happen in 48 hours that will put your cat and your home at risk. For example, your cat may eat something they shouldn't or knock something over. They may accidentally get stuck in a room or be impacted by something breaking down. Most seriously, your cat may have a medical emergency such as a urinary blockage or obstruction or even a stroke. A daily visit increases the chance that an emergency will be captured on time and save lives.

Peace of Mind for You and Your Cat is not just a tagline; it’s my philosophy. As of fall 2021, I have been certified as a Fear Free Certified Professional (Pet Sitter). The certification enables me to improve the quality of care I provide to your cat. This is particularly important when your cat requires medication. In this article, I share the four pillars of giving medicine with recommendations for implementation.
