COVID-19 Update: Reopening Policies
Normally, the week leading to Memorial Day weekend is the kick-off for our busy season, but this year nothing is normal. Although we have been fortunate to spend some time with our feline friends, we remain vigilant but optimistic, hoping that normalcy will return but doing our part to keep our clients, cats, and cat sitter safe.
We are getting ready to take on new bookings and new clients, while keeping safety as a top priority.
As an in house pet care service, we have been allowed to operate with restrictions, and we will continue to do so, while maintaining distancing and keeping the highest standards of hygiene protocols. As required by the Reopening Massachusetts plan, we completed the COVID-19 Control Plan. We will continue to comply with the requirements of the plan:
In order to maintain physical distancing, we will conduct meet and greets and consultations via video conferencing when possible.
When visiting our clients, we wear a face covering at all times. In addition, we leave our shoes outside or at the door, and wear gloves at all times.
We frequently wash or sanitize our hands. We always carry hand sanitizer.
We disinfect high touch surfaces such as faucets, kitchen counters, equipment, doorknobs, and light switches.
If at any time our cat sitter will display any COVID-19-like symptoms we will cancel our visits and will work with our clients to find an alternative solution. If a cancellation is required for this reason, cancellation fees will be waved and the client will be reimbursed for any incomplete services.
We ask that if our clients or anyone in their household is displaying any COVID-19-like symptoms, please let us know.
We wish our clients health, and hope to see you soon!
